The village is set in the splendid Ionic coast between Messina and Catania, few kilometres away from Taormina, just set at the foot of Etna near by Marina di Riposto, a place set on the sea but taking the name from the Sicilian term "U Ripostu" which means the cellar. Seaside resort with beautiful pebbles beaches. It also has one of the international tourist ports "Porto dell'ETNA", which is one of the most equipped of Sicily.
